A 100% bamboo floor with a beautiful wood look
MOSO® Bamboo Elite Oak is a relatively long and wide board (compared to other MOSO® Floors) with a similar appearance to hardwood flooring. The appearance is created by embossing the surface and applying stained lacquer for an authentic wood look and feel.
The MOSO® Bamboo Elite Oak range features boards with a long, wide format and a grain that very much resembles a wooden floor. The range comprises four colours in line with current trends:
The flooring is made from three layers of extra hard High Density® bamboo, with the middle layer pressed crosswise to maximise the stability. The boards are equipped with a tongue/groove connection. Bamboo Elite Oak is one of the hardest natural floors available.
Sustainability has become an integral part of MOSO®’s products and company policy. Although many flooring manufacturers describe their products as sustainable and ecological, this statement is not sufficient for MOSO®. Moso bamboo is a giant grass that, when processed, enables MOSO® to create products that has reach the characteristics of hardwood after a growth period of just 5 years. MOSO® has conducted LCA’s (Life Cycle Analysis) (ISO 14040/44) and EPD’s (Environmental Product Declaration) (EN15804) to calculate the impact of the products on the environment. Thanks to additional test results and being an FSC®-certified flooring, the solid bamboo floor contributes to sustainable building certifications such as LEED and BREEAM.
