Bernaqua promises to give you new energy and take your mind off everyday life. A visit to the experience pool is a real treat for the senses, thanks to the special design and extensive offer of pools, saunas and fitness facilities. In addition to the pools and saunas, there is plenty of opportunity to relax on a sun deck with a view of the city’s hills and the Bern skyline. The decks have been installed with MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® Decking boards in different widths, which give the outdoor spaces additional natural charm.
In 2018, Gerber Holzbau Bern AG was appointed to replace the wood decking (Robinia) around the outdoor pools, including the pool edges, approximately 780 m². The particularly challenging application required a very stable material and Bamboo X-treme® proved to be the best choice. In subsequent years, the sauna terraces were also constructed using Bamboo X-treme®.
