The Paediatric Cancer Centre at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona is the first specialised paediatric oncology care centre in Spain and the second in Europe. Designed by the PINEARQ architecture studio, the project was carefully developed with the wellbeing of children and teens in mind. MOSO® Bamboo Veneer was applied on Parklex Prodema panels as flooring, wall and ceiling covering. It brings a warm and qualitative touch to the hospital’s interior. PARKLEX PRODEMA panels are antibacterial and hygienic, since they are resistant to strong chemical cleaners and disinfectants, making them a perfect fit for spaces dedicated to healthcare.
