Tour Hekla

The 49-floor, 76,000 m² Hekla Tower, designed by the renowned architectural firm Ateliers Jean Nouvel, is located in the La Défense district of Paris. The tower features a 250-seat auditorium, a business centre, five restaurants and a fitness centre. To enhance the interior of the building, MOSO^® Bamboo Products were applied from floor to ceiling in the form of veneers, panels, tiles, furniture and parquet strips. As well as installing MOSO^® Bamboo Supreme Flooring and veneered panels in one of the building’s restaurants, the bamboo resource is also used for different applications in the auditorium with the same flooring, solid tiles on the walls, furniture in solid MOSO^® Bamboo panels, and acoustic panels covered with micro-perforated MOSO^® Bamboo veneers on the ceilings. MOSO^® Bamboo X-treme^® Decking was also installed on the top three levels of the tower to cover the building’s roof decks.
