In early 2016, IKC De Zeven Zeeën in Amsterdam opened its doors. The IKC forms a link in a network of public buildings and outdoor spaces in the area. Designed by Moke Architects, the school reflects the function of the building in its playful design. For the façade, the architect opted for a combination of a red scaled finish with the new MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® façade cladding.
At the end of 2020, almost 5 years after installation, MOSO® returned to IKC De Zeven Zeeën to photograph the bamboo cladding again. The façade is beautifully weathered and retains its natural look. Every cladding board is still as tight and straight as the day of installation.
